It's nearly the end of 2009 - and what an amazing year it's been for everyone at UBank.
Since the launch of our new USaver in August, we've grown significantly. We've been able to bring lots of new people into our direct banking centre and operations team, which means more people dedicated to helping you make the most of your money. We're all really proud of how well this year has gone and a major factor in that success is your feedback. It's helped us improve in various areas of the business, and will continue to see us improve in the future - so keep it up.
A successful year one...
On October 1, we celebrated our first birthday, it seems like only yesterday we launched with an 8.5%p.a. rate for a 3-month term deposit. So thank you in particular to those who have been with us from the start. We've come a long way - and we're not finished yet.
Last week we were honoured to be awarded with Best Online Savings Account 2010 in Money magazine's 'Best of the Best' awards. We also picked up second and third place awards for our term deposit. We're all about making things better for you, and a great feeling to have the industry recognise that.

At this time of year, it's hard not to look to the future and wonder what it holds. And although there's a lot of economic uncertainty out there, the general consensus is that the worst of the global financial crisis is behind us. And, here at UBank, we're already working towards a brighter future, with an exciting new set of products to launch in the new year. So stay tuned!
