Usually when you hear from us, it's to tell you about a new way we can help you grow your money. How you can do more with it. And make more of it. But now - in the wake of the catastrophic Victorian bushfires that have devastated over 750 homes, taken hundreds of lives, and torn apart countless families - we're asking you to make a contribution.
The Victoria Bushfire Relief Fund was set up by the Federal Government in partnership with the Red Cross, and it got off to a great start with an initial donation of $1 million from NAB. The Relief Fund will help the families affected by this tragedy get back on their feet. And with your help, they really can start again - even those who have lost everything.
It all helps.
You don't have to make a huge pledge to make a difference. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated - and any donation over $2 is tax deductible.
The Red Cross has stressed that the best way to help is by making a monetary donation - at this stage they are not accepting donations of goods. Pledging money instead allows the Red Cross to distribute the resources in the best possible way.
