Rates shown above are the nominal interest rates for amounts of $1,000. Interest is generally calculated daily and payable monthly, however this may vary from institution to institution.
The UBank maximum interest rate includes bonus interest if you set up an Automatic Savings Plan (ASP) of at least $200 (or more) each month. Savings Bonus accrues the month after setting up an ASP and applies to USaver account balances less than $200,000 per customer (including all USaver joint accounts).
The maximum interest rate of other financial institutions may include introductory rates that apply for a certain period of time and bonus rates (such as loyalty or savings bonuses) that apply after satisfying a certain criteria.
